Getting involved - Raglan

Getting involved

Resident involvement is fundamental to the success of the services Raglan provides. That's why residents are encouraged to get involved in the overall planning, decision-making process and monitoring of our services because we believe that residents' needs, wishes and opinions should be valued. We also consult residents on any issues that affect them directly eg: changes to tenancy agreements or any decisions that may result in service charge rises.

Our Resident Involvement Policy ensures that we work alongside residents to influence policies and proposals for service improvement. The policy also enables Raglan to demonstrate its accountability to residents. Linked to the Resident Involvement Policy, our Resident Involvement Statement [pdf] 2MB provides an account of the achievements and plans for resident involvement and community initiatives.

It is for residents to decide how they wish to be involved, if at all. We recognise the need to be flexible and open-minded and have made sure that there are a number of different ways to get involved.
