The tender process for our responsive repairs contract in the South East is moving closer to completion, with site visits to four contractors underway. This follows a comprehensive tender evaluation earlier this month.
A group of staff and local residents are currently visiting contractors in the four areas under tender. They are viewing existing partnering arrangements and talking to customers in order to gauge their satisfaction with the services and their delivery.
Finally, interviews will take place and then a decision will be made about which contractors to proceed with. There then begins a 10-day standstill period for reflection and possible challenge by any unsuccessful contractor.
We are looking forward to completing the task and embedding a new service that will provide improved services for residents and greater value for money for Raglan.
