Shepherd Lodge is a mix of 30 one bed single and double occupancy flats located in a quiet residential area that is within walking distance of Anton Nature Reserve and a short drive away from Charlton Lakes.
The scheme comprises of a large communal lounge with kitchen, TV, stereo, darts board, two computers, snooker table and a selection of books to swap. There is an on-site laundry, guest room, a nice garden with seating area, and parking bays. The scheme is three storey’s high and has a central lift.
Shepherd Lodge has an active Social Club that organise meals out once a month, Bingo, a fish and chip lunch and a games night. Residents meet daily for tea and coffee in the lounge. Keen gardeners are welcomed, and encouraged to assist if it is something they enjoy. The Library also offers a mobile service and a van visits once a month. We have a selection of cards for sale for those who are not able to get out and about easily.
The bus stop is nearby, with a regular service (every 1/2hr). We also have a local Neighbourcare who offer a pick up service and charge for a return trip at a reasonable price. The nearest shop is approx 15 minutes walk and there are two retail parks close by with a range of well known stores.
Andover town centre is approximately one mile away and has a Doctors Surgery and Dentist. You will also find a Leisure Centre, Theatre, Ramblers Club and weekly market. The Andover War Memorial Hospital with Minor Injuries Unit is also approx 1 mile from Shepherd Lodge.
