Resident involvement is fundamental to the
success of Raglan. That's why residents are encouraged to get
involved in the overall planning, decision-making process and
monitoring of our services. Raglan firmly believes that residents'
needs, wishes and opinions should be valued. In addition, all
residents are specifically consulted on any issues that affect them
directly eg: changes to tenancy agreements or any decisions that
may result in service charge rises.
Our
Resident Involvement Policy ensures that we work
alongside residents to influence policies and proposals for service
improvement. The policy also enables Raglan to demonstrate its
accountability to residents. Linked to the Resident Involvement
Policy, our
Resident Involvement Statement provides an
account of the achievements that resident involvement and community
initiatives work has brought over the past year. It also lists our
plans for the forthcoming year.
Ultimately, it is for residents to decide how they wish to be
involved, if at all. In consideration of this, Raglan recognises
the need to be flexible and open-minded. Therefore, we have made
sure that there are a number of different ways to get
involved.
