Key worker homes

Key Worker Shared Ownership is a government funded scheme to help key workers buy a share in a home close to their place of work.

Similar to other shared ownership schemes buyers usually purchase 40-50% of the property and pay a subsidised rent on the balance to Raglan who own the remaining share.

Sometimes homes are specifically built for key workers, as the need is identified by the local authority but key workers can apply for any shared ownership homes not just those marketed to them.

For information on eligibility and on key worker homes generally check the Department for Local Government and Communities website.

Raglan is pleased to advise that 6 shared ownership apartments available for keyworkers are currently being developed at Elm Park Court, Eastbourne. Successful applicants will need to be registered with Moat Housing Group, the Keyworker Zone Agent for East Sussex.

Later in 2006, further key worker shared ownership apartments will be available in Southampton. For more information, please contact our Home Ownership Team by email sales@raglan.org or call 01202 296991.

If you would like to rent a property then Raglan currently has several refurbished studio flats available to rent at Bickley near Bromley in Kent.
