Raglan owns and manages over 10,900 homes in 95 local authority
areas and we have a further 1900 at different stages of
development, ranging from pre-site proposals to properties nearing
completion.
Our
development work involves
building new homes in inner city, urban and rural areas. We
also redevelop redundant brownfield sites and empty properties in
support of town centre regeneration. In addition to new
homes for rent, Raglan
provides
shared ownership
properties and low cost homes for
keyworkers.
In recent years we have introduced local working for all front line
housing staff. They are supported by
our
Housing Services
Centre (HSC) which offers residents a one-stop shop for all
their housing enquiries. In the majority of cases the advisor
taking the call will deal with the enquiry directly, for example if
a resident is reporting a repair. With some issues, such as
anti-social behaviour, the advisor will pass the enquiry to a
specialist.
The HSC also deals with enquiries from prospective residents
looking for
rented
accommodation.
Enquiries regarding our shared ownership properties are handled by
our
sales department based at our Bournemouth office.
Each area office has its own local housing staff - housing
officers, surveyors and community initiative officers.
Our development
managers, responsible for producing the 200 new homes
identified in this year's development programme, are also based at
the area offices, with a central development support function at
head office.
