Robert Whyte
House Bromley, Surrey
Robert Whyte House is an extra care
sheltered project for elderly people.
It is located in beautiful grounds in Bickley, Kent which is 2

The project's aims are to:

possible

- encourage residents to become actively involved in the running
of the project
- give residents the choice to socialise or to stay private

by an emergency warden call system linked to a central control
centre.
The managers and project workers act as good neighbours to
residents and look after the building and its security. They are
not expected to carry out personal, domicilary or nursing care,
neither do they do shopping or laundry for residents. They are not
allowed to administer medication.

Each of the 32
flatlets has its own toilet facilities and alarm system for
emergency assistance. There is a lift to the first floor.
The weekly charges for living at Robert Whyte House include the
rent, council tax, service charges and meals and these can be
offset through your eligibility for benefits. The only additional
bills that residents need to cover are for the telephone and TV
licence.
