Rent Payment Methods

Your tenancy agreement is a legally binding contract and requires you to pay your weekly rent. You may choose to pay your rent monthly provided it is in advance along with any other charges listed in your tenancy agreement such as the service charge.

Listed below is the variety of ways rent can be paid.

Using your Swipecard
(Payment Card)
At a Post Office or shop
Every tenant is issued with a plastic payment card that links residents to their properties. The payment card may be used at any Post Office or shop displaying the Paypoint sign.

Existing residents who use Payzone or e-pay can continue to do so until June 2009.

Online
In addition the payment card may be used to pay online. The internet payment service is at www.allpay.net and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To make a payment a debit card and payment card are needed to quote the 19 digit reference number when prompted.

By Telephone
To make a payment over the phone telephone 0870 770 0472. You will then be prompted for your unique 19 digit payment card number and details of your payment (debit card).

Bank Standing Order
If you wish to pay by monthly standing order please contact your area office who will send you a standing order form and indicate the amount that needs to be paid every month.

Bank Direct Debit
At the moment this facility is only available for the payment of service charges by leaseholders. Residents using this service will complete a direct debit mandate which allows the Association to withdraw an agreed amount direct from their bank account at monthly intervals.

Postal Cheques
Cheques can be sent to Raglan's head office in Poole. Please do not send your payment card with the cheque but state your name and address on a separate piece of paper.

Credit Card
Payment by credit card is not usually accepted but it may be considered in certain circumstances and it must be agreed in advance by the Association. Residents using this facility will incur a payment surcharge. This charge is to cover the cost of the transaction made by Allpay who provide the facility.
