Emergency Helpline
The Raglan Emergency Helpline 0845 762 6112 is open outside office hours:
Monday - Friday 5pm-9am and Friday 5pm-Monday 9am, every day of the year.

The Helpline is for real emergencies which left unattended until the offices open are likely to cause any one of the following:

Possible injury or serious danger to health examples: gas leaks, blocked overflowing drains, live bare electric wires, electrical equipment in contact with water, dangerous play equipment, dislodged masonry or roof tiles that could fall on people below, fire alarm and warden call system faults
Undue hardship examples: lifts out of action in tall buildings or those housing the elderly and disabled where there is no second lift, heating system breakdowns in cold weather, broken WC pans where there is no second lavatory to use, no power for cooking, no lights in dark stairways, kitchens or bathrooms, total loss of cold water supply
Extensive damage to property examples: burst pipes, serious roof leaks, fire or flood making your home uninhabitable

Loss of security examples: broken door locks or window catches and glass where unauthorised entry would be possible

Malicious and Inappropriate Calls
Where non-emergency calls are made, the Helpline reserves the right to re-charge you for the difference between the cost of works carried out as an emergency and the cost of the works if they had been carried out in normal working hours.

Persistent inappropriate use of the Helpline and using it to try to by-pass the normal repairs procedure may result in the service being refused in the future.

If you have any comments or questions regarding this service please contact the Housing Services Centre by email hsc@raglan.org or call 08450 707772.
